She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmanuel Durand and Mariette Durand (Jean-Baptiste); her son Fred Verella; her brother Fritz Durand; and her grandchild Chrystian Petit.
She is survived by: her sister Paulette Tardieu; her children, Mickaelle Verella Petit, Kareen Verella, Leslye Bell (Brian Bell), Joan Morisset (Rudy Morisset), Giliane and Regine Tardieu; her nephew Philippe Tardieu (Marie-Ange Tardieu); and her grandchildren, Vanessa Verella, Johnathan Marcellus, Dr. Michael Simoni (Kellie Ann Jurado), Kevin Morisset (Cheyenne Morisset), Robert Petit (Margaret Petit), Stephan Morisset, Brian Bell Jr. (Carla Kruse Bell), Christine Bell, Arielle Bell, Zachary Rigaud, Sasha Morisset, Travis Morisset and Jennifer Petit. She is also survived by her 11 great grand-children.
