It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven T. Basara of Norton, Massachusetts, born in Chester, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Thomas Joseph Basara. He is survived by : his mother Regina Basara Carlin (Bill) of The Villages, Fla.; his daughters, Skyler Ann and Sierra Lily; his wife Ann-Marie Pickering Basara; his siblings, Michele Marie Hundermark (Harry) of Folsom, Jeanne Ann Basara of Gibbstown, N. J. and Thomas Scott Basara (Becky) of Green Lane; his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Compton-Bain, Harry Hundermark, Matthew Thomas Aaron, Andrew Joseph Aaron, Jake Thomas Basara, Thomas Steven Basara, Abigail Rose Clifford, Alison Renee Clifford, Sarah Elizabeth Pickering, Kayla Ann Pickering and Jack Francis Pickering; and also Xavier James Compton-Bain.

In lieu of flowers, Steve would hope that you will do an unexpected unsolicited act of kindness in his name and donations to or participation in the Jimmy Fund Walk, which will be held Oct. 1 in Boston to benefit cancer research, a cause dear to Steve's heart.
