He was predeceased by: his parents, William McGovern Sr. and Gertrude C. McGovern. He is survived by: his wife Ann M. McGovern (Dunn); his children, Michelle Eastman (Brian Cook) of Norton, Suzanne McGovern (Michael Tubin) of Plymouth, Paul McGovern (Phanny) of South Attleboro and Brian McGovern (Denise) of Mashpee; his brother Stephen McGovern (Veronica) of Norton; his brother-in-law Walter Dunn of Hull; and his friends, Thomas and Peggy Murphy of Dover. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory made be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 85 East Concord Street, Ground Floor, Boston, MA 02118.
