He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elinor Theriault, James Connerty and Raymond Connerty; his siblings-in-law, George Murphy (Carol) of Quincy, Margaret Novak (late Henry) of Quincy and Roger Theriault; and his parents, James E. Connerty and Grace Connerty (Keefe).

He is survived by: his wife Alice Connerty (Murphy); his children, Edward Connerty, Jr. (Colleen) of Norwell, Mark Connerty of Norwell, Kara Connerty of Norwell and Brian Connerty (Kendall) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Catherine, Grace, Allison of Norwell, Matthew, Emma, Nora, Tyler of Hanover and Chloe of Norwell; and his siblings-in-law, Eleanor Manton (Joseph) of Quincy, William Murphy (late Angela) of Florida, Helen Bernardo (Lee) of Rhode Island, Marie Connerty and Marcia Connerty. He is also survived by his cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
