He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Walsh and Vivian Walsh (Betty); and his brother James Walsh of Florida. He is survived by: his significant other Betsy Walsh (Campbell); his children, Edward F Walsh III (Laurie France) of Marshfield and Kelly Walsh (Bob Parfumorse); his grandchildren, S. Colby Young III of South Carolina and Ashlynn Young of Florida; his brother Gary; his niece Ria of New York; his sister-in-law Mary; his nephews, James and Joseph (Heather) of Florida; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Campbell.
