He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Patrick Serena and Gertrude Serena. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Serena; and his children, Thomas, Christine and Annette Serena. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who knew him fondly as "Grandfather".
