He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Rice and Helen Rice (Meagher); and his son Brendan Rice. He is survived by: his daughters, Maureen, Kathleen Rice-McDonald (Brian) and Annie McKnight (Marty); his siblings, Dr. Mary Rice and Billy; his sister-in-law Maureen Welch; his grandchildren, Morgan, Danny, Julia, Aidan McDonald, Patrick Noel, Cailei and Glen McKnight; and his siblings' children, Missy, Kristin and Dennis.
