She was predeceased by: her parents, Dana Laney and Corinne Laney (Ouelette); and her brother Richard Laney. She is survived by: her son Joseph O'Connell Jr. (Susan O'Connell); her sisters, Pamela Melendy (Bruce) and Brenda Daly (James); and her nieces and nephews, Betty Parker, Janelle O'Rourke, Margaret McCluskey, Brooke Ahl, Katie Bowman and Richard Laney.
