Theresa McGuire Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2025, at the age of 74, Theresa McGuire of Norwell, Massachusetts, born in Tampa, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Louis Zorn (J. L.) and Theresa Cecilia Zorn. She is survived by: her husband James Sherwood McGuire; her brother Mark Joseph "Uncle Marker" Zorn (Cathy Zorn); her children, Jack Bernard Cooney IV (Lisa Cooney), Nancy Chatfield McGuire Choi (Eugene Choi), Sarah Powell McGuire (Kelley McGuire) and Amanda Ford McGuire Parlon (Paul Parlon); and her grandchildren, Dillon Zorn Cooney, Cameron Cecilia Cooney, Jamie Alexandra Choi, Ellie McGuire Choi, Theresa James McGuire, Charlie Powell McGuire and Emma James McGuire.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home- Hanover (551 Washington St, Hanover, MA 02339). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
