She was predeceased by: her siblings, Richard, Kathleen, Michael, Myles, Sean, William and Maureen; and her parents, John McDonnell and Katherine McDonnell.

She is survived by: her spouse Thomas McCafferty Sr. (Vincent); her children, Doreen P. Smith (David) of Colorado and Thomas V. McCafferty Jr. (Joyce) of South Yarmouth; and her sister Margaret Blondin of Virginia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
