With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gudrun Hess of Norwood, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 28, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilhelm Dippel and Katarina Dippel (Esch); her husband Charles Balfe Hess; and her sister Margot Suzanne Geiger. She is survived by : her children, Katherina "Kathy" Riley of Norwood and John Hess (Robin Umbley) of Beverly; and her brother Klaus Dippel (Karin) of Simmertal. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
