He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Flaherty and Barbara T. Flaherty (Welch); and his brother Richard A. Flaherty. He is survived by: his sister Barbara Flaherty of Norwood; his sister-in-law Virginia M. Flaherty of Jamaica Plain; and his nephews, Peter A. Flaherty of Los Angeles, CA and Brendan R. Flaherty of Chelsea.
