It is with sadness that the passing of Joan T. Hilchey of Norwood, Massachusetts is shared. Joan, born on March 19, 1935, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hatlas and Agatha Hatlas (Bennett); her husband Lester Hilchey; and her son Stephen Hilchey (Lori Azzara) of Randolph. She is survived by: her children, Susan (William Shelley) of Medway and Richard Hilchey (Karen) of The Woodlands, TX; her grandchildren, Jacquelyn McMahon (Timothy), Christine Dubois (Jeremy), Amanda Contre (Christopher), Christopher Hilchey (Heather) and Jennifer Hilchey; and her great grandchildren, Allison, Ryan, Nolan, Benjamin, Connor and Camden.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Gillooly Funeral Home (126 Walpole St, Norwood, MA 02062). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Timothy's Parish (650 Nichols St, Norwood, MA 02062).
