With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John F. Donovan Jr. of Norwood, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel Donovan (McDonough); his sister Eileen Baressi; and his brothers-in-law, John Murphy and Domenic Baressi. He is survived by: his children, Jack Donovan III (Janet) of Norwood, Maureen McDonough (Kevin) of Norwood, Michael Donovan (Cathleen) of Kingston, Brian Donovan of Marshfield and Steven Donovan (Karin) of Arizona; and his sister Peg Murphy. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
