With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew Ross Vance (Norwood, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2025 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Matthew departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Matthew. Though Matthew may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Ross Vance and Pamela J. Travers (Joseph) of Rochester. He is survived by: his sons, Ethan Matthew Vance of Franklin and Aidan Robert Vance of Franklin; his brother Jared B. Vance of Rhode Island; his nephew Austin Vance; his nieces, Hannah and Samantha Vance; and his former wife Beth Vance (Rich).
