She was predeceased by: her husband Robert P. Sweeney; and her parents, Joseph A. Pidzewick and Marion B. Pidzewick (Walsh). She is survived by: her children, Robert M. Sweeney of Norwood, Joseph E. Sweeney (Rosemary) and Stacey C. Lane (James) of Norwood; her siblings, Gail Byrne of Southboro and Irene Schillberg of Randolph; her grandchildren, Richie Lane, Max Lane, Harry Lane, Joseph Sweeney, John Sweeney, Colin Sweeney, Bridget Sweeney, Taylor Sweeney and RJ Sweeney; and her great grandchild Luna Merril Lane.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Circle of HOPE foundation.
