He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Catherine Marie Gallerani; and his sister Marie Reid Gallerani. He is survived by: his son Anthony M. Gallerani (Tatum Stewart); his grandson Wyatt; his son Matthew W. Gallerani (Michelly Gallerani, family: Pedro, Laura, Elena Grace); his partner Jean Kelleher; his stepdaughter Jacqueline Dayton Dove (John Dove); his grandson Leonard "Lenny" Dove; his godson John Morris; and his close friend Edward Carll. He is also survived by many other family members and dear friends.

Santos Community Service Award, an organization Michael founded to recognize and encourage service to the Plymouth community, or to the Gastric Cancer Foundation in support of cancer research.
