She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Ernst and Edna Ernst Irving (Dunn); her husband Edwin Herig, Jr.; and her cousins, Robert Duke, Robert Hurd, Dorothy Andrews (Duke) and Chester Dunn.

She is survived by: her siblings, William T. Irving (Patricia) of Taunton and Carol Whyte (late Stephen Whyte) of Hingham; and her cousins, Ronald Duke, Wayne Dunn and Marilyn Dunn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-grand nieces and nephews.
