He was predeceased by: his parents, Florencio Japlit and Juliana Japlit (Perez); his sister Cely; and his brothers-in-law, Roger and Noel.
He is survived by: his wife Wilhelmina Japlit (Aquino) of Norwood; his children, Melanie Kasdon (Henry) and Neil Japlit (Erika); his grandchildren, Kaya, Erik, Clover, Olivia and Charlie; and his siblings, Gloria, Marte (Rosie), Aurora (Ferdinand), Proserfina and Nestor (Agnes). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended families.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gillooly Funeral Home (126 Walpole St, Norwood, MA 02062). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Parish (547 Washington St, Norwood, MA 02062).
