She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Maroney; and her parents, James Barss and Elizabeth Barss (Mitchell). She is survived by: her children, John "Jack" B. Maroney (Diana) of Reading, James "Jim" Maroney of Norwood and Jeanne Correia of Brewster; her siblings, James Barss of Norwood and Judith Barker of Dallas, TX.; and her grandsons, John and Michael Maroney.
