He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcella and McDonnell; and his siblings, James, Sean, Hugh, Patrick, Edward, Sadie and Maureen.
He is survived by: his children, Doreen P. Smith (David) of Greenwood Village, CO and Thomas V. McCafferty, Jr. (Joyce) of South Yarmouth; his granddaughters, Paige, Brynn, Kiera and Alana; and his siblings, Eunan and Kathleen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
