David Alton Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Alton and Helen "Sue" Alton. He is survived by: his wife Coreen Alton; his daughter Michelle O'Donnell (James); his stepchildren, Sean DeBettencourt (Sarah), Klaire Shaw (Wyman) and Jennifer Hanna; his grandchildren, Benjamin (Sienna), O'Donnell, Ivy DeBettencourt, Ella (Ivy Shaw), Mackenzie and Searle; and his siblings, Mary Stickel, Kathryn Krause, Suzanne McPherson, Mark Alton, JT Alton and John Alton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Portuguese American Club (137 Vineyard Ave, Oak Bluffs, MA 02557).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the PA Club Scholarship Fund or the PA Club Benevolent Fund in David's honor.
