He was predeceased by: his parents, John Coughlan and Kathaleen Coughlan (Kelleher); his sisters, Mary Joan O'Connor and Kathleen Mays; and his brother-in-law Thomas O'Connor.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Elaine Gifford (Alan) of Onset, John of Quincy and Gregory of Salem, OR; his grandchildren, Sean, Dillon, Kayra, Randall and Ethan; his sister Clare Sullivan of Brooklin, Maine; and his sister-in-law Elaine Warren (David) of Sandwich.
