He is survived by: his wife Lisa Alford (Robichaud); his children, Justin Alford (Kelsey) of Leesburg, VA and Amanda Alford of Fitchburg, MA; his grandchildren, Coen and Cecelia; his siblings, Barry (Lucia), Mike (Roxanne), Wendy Rao (Peru), Mary Hoover (Larry) and Kelly Alford; and his brother-in-law Michael Cross. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
