With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald C. Ambrozy (Orange, Massachusetts), born in Athol, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 91. In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Ambrozy and Nellie Ambrozy (Dopadlak); and his siblings, Stacia Ambrozy Nelson and Chester Ambrozy. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ambrozy (Chase) of Athol; his son Richard (Laura) of Athol; and his grandchildren, Ryan Ambrozy of Saco and Rachel Ambrozy of Billerica.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Witty's Funeral Home (158 S Main St, Orange, MA 01364). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Our Lady Immaculate Church (192 School St, Athol, MA 01331). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (111 Glenallen St, Winchendon, MA 01475).
