It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy J. (Russell) Dirth (Orange, Massachusetts), born in Athol, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 26, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George McLean and Arlene Russell McLean (Isrow); her husband Paul R. Dirth Sr.; and her son Paul Dirth Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Stuvick (Dell) of Orange and Arlene Smith (Donald) of Athol; her grandchildren, Kevin Blakie (Amanda), Christopher Blakie, Michael Blakie (Steve Hirsch), Amy Burnett (Mark), Ashley Smith and Vanessa Batchelder (Mark); her great grandchildren, Cody Blakie, Keegan Blakie, Garrett Blakie, Madilyn Blakie Hirsch, Allyson Burnett, Mia Burnett and Jordan Guy; her stepgrandchildren, Bennett Metcalf, Tobey Metcalf, Bailey Metcalf and Patrick Lamier; her great great grandchild Ivy Leger; and her siblings, Steven Russell of Florida, Marjorie Bushey of Gardner and Gloria Pace of Mississippi. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
