He is survived by: his wife Joann St. John (Putney) of Athol; his children, Laura St. John of Athol, Edward St. John Jr. of Boston and Erica Hammersley of Gardner; his grandchildren, Olivia, Jason of Turners Falls and Nicholas St. John; and his son-in-law Leo Hamel IV of Athol.
