He was predeceased by: his parents, Deputy Fire Chief James R. and Alyce Rourke (Thomas); and his sister Joan Hynes (Ashli Garton). He is survived by: his wife Sharlene Rourke (Gugarty); his son Jim; his grandchildren, Vivienne James and Thomas Easton; his stepchildren, John Gugarty of West Springfield, Margaret Gugarty (Matt Hotaling) of Watertown and Shannon Gugarty of Orange; his former wife Alice Rourke (Sinitski) of Wilmington, MA; and his pet Yuki. He is also survived by his son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
