He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley "Tootsie" Cote (Hendrickson); and his brothers, Les and Ray. He is survived by: his siblings, Corenna and Ritchie of Florida; his children, Deborah Croteau (Mike), Joseph Cote Jr. (Joanne), Bill Cote (Wendy) and James Cote; his grandchildren, Amy, Derek, Jamie, Patrick, Meghan, Shakira and Billy; and his great grandchildren, Kylie, Jacob, Grace, Kaelyn, Owen and Colin.
