She was predeceased by: her parents, George Morris and Helen Morris (Coburn); her husband Winfield Mason; her close friend Sonny Veazie; her brother Robert Morris; and her son-in-law Wayne Heitmann.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Stiles (Stephen) of Gardner, Marcia Murphy (Paul) of Templeton, Steven Hollister (Virginia) of Fitchburg and Robin Heitmann of Phillipston; her grandchildren, Melissa Laroche, Kelli Murphy, Lee Murphy, Alia Sanders, Jarrod Borey, Paula Stephens, George Lehto, Matthew Heitmann and Michael Richard; her brother George Morris; her sisters-in-law, Carol Morris and Carrie Morris; and her pet Daisy Mae. She is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
She spent many winters knitting or crocheting lap blankets which she donated to area nursing homes and countless children's hats and mittens which she donated to Valuing Our Children of Athol.
