He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Sutherland of Gardner, MA, Ashley Kirkland Sutherland of Weirsdale, FL and Kristine Sutherland of Leesburg, FL; and his siblings, Gary Sutherland (Barbara) of Whitinsville, MA, Richard Sutherland (Donna) of Northbridge, MA, Warren "Jay" Sutherland (Kim) of Lebanon, CT, Troy Sutherland of Orange, MA and Debbra Pentland (Edward) of Whitinsville, MA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
