She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Barnes and Myrtle Barnes (Swan); her husband J. Wesley Blackmer Jr.; her son Bruce Blackmer; and her siblings, Leslie Barnes and Alice Woessner.
She is survived by: her children, John Blackmer (Terri) of Pennsylvania, Linda George (Stan) of Virginia, Virginia Guignard (Jon) of New Hampshire and Janis Cox (Wayne) of New Hampshire; her grandchildren, J. W. Cox (Carrie) of New Hampshire, Timothy George of Virginia, Jennifer Gray of Virginia, Rebecca Ingram (Jason) of Massachusetts, Jean Whitten (Mike) of New Hampshire and Amy Collins (Brendan) of Connecticut; her great grandchildren, Emily Gray, Madison Whitten and Zachary Whitten; her siblings, Leroy Barnes of New York, Kenneth Barnes of Maryland and Harriette Kring of Washington; and her daughter-in-law Nancy M. Blackmer of Orange. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
