We are sad to announce that, on October 2, 2025, at the age of 97, Quimby Q. Whitney (Orange, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Whitney and Jennie Whitney; his children, Bruce, Clifford Whitney and Lois Kwaitkowski; and his siblings, Thelma Trombley, Shirley Whitney (Everett), Delia Salisbury, Wayne Whitney, Ray Whitney, Myrtle Zablonski and Hazel Haggett.

He is survived by: his children, Quimby Jr., Gerald, Jeffrey, Beverly, Glenn and Frank Whitney; and his sister Marilyn Bell. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
