With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney F. Whipple (Orange, Massachusetts), who passed away on June 16, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Whipple and Nellie Whipple; and his sisters, Ruth Whipple, Hope Sterbinsky, Bess Stowell and Eva-Rae Skinner.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his brothers, Donald of Orange and James of California; his children, Charles (Victoria) and Christine (Martin J. Brett III); and his grandsons, Calvin, Ethan Whipple and Shea Brett.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Witty's Funeral Home (158 S Main St, Orange, MA 01364). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Warwick Church- Metcalf Chapel (32 Athol Rd, Warwick, MA 01378). A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at the Warwick Center Cemetery (25 Holden Rd, Warwick, MA 01378).
