He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal H. Roach and Anna H. Roach Sr. (Urban); his close friend Oleitta MacKinnon (May); and his grandson Michael Andrew Roach. He is survived by: his sons, Steven, Timothy (Ellie) and Scott (Claudia); his grandchildren, Holly, Leah, Mikaela, Andrew and Bethany; and his brother Robert of Lowell, MA.. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
