With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary R. Gammon of Osterville, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 10, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Gammon; her parents, Michalena Morriss (Lesiczka) and James Morriss; her son James Gammon; her sister Peggy Marek; her great-nephews, Brandon, Conner, Jacob Ybarra and Paul McDonald; Donald Ybarra.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Anne Dinnel of Centerville, MA and Thomas Gammon of Delaware; her grandchildren, Chad Dinnel, Scott Dinnel, Brian Dinnel, Erin Gammon Bakker, Elizabeth Gammon Lichtenberger, Katherine Gammon Bays and Megan Gammon Mompher; and her sibling's children, Debra McDonald of Spring Hill, TN, Michael Marek of Yorba Linda, CA and Melodie Ybarra of Placentia, CA.. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Marstons Mills (3778 Falmouth Rd, Marstons Mills, MA 02648). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Assumption Church (76 Wianno Ave, Osterville, MA 02655).
