He was predeceased by : his brothers, Francis L. McGrath Jr., Kenneth J. McGrath and James M. McGrath; and his parents, Francis L. McGrath and Irene M. McGrath Sr. (LaBrie).

He is survived by : his brother Ronald J. McGrath of Auburn. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
