He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kristin L. MacKay (Lovett) of Oxford; his sons, Mike J. MacKay of Centerville, James L. MacKay (Melinda) of Westerly, RI and Peter C. MacKay (Sean Forbes) of Thompson, CT; his stepchildren, Craig W. Bates (Cathy) of Florida, Dulce J. Campbell (Paul) of Woodstock, CT, Elizabeth T. Lampert (David) of Scarsdale, NY and Deborah T. Quigg (Timothy) of Columbia, MD; his sisters, Carol Engstrand of Sutton and Sandra Martin of West Brookfield; his grandchildren, Justin Anderson, Gregory MacKay, Michael MacKay, Sam MacKay, Joel Bates, Katie Melanson, Sarah Kuritzky, Jenny Cronin, Lisa Widen, Sarah Lampert, Emma Lampert, Daniel Lampert, Owen Quigg and Shannon Quigg; his former wives, Gretchen Anderson (Nordstrom) and Barbara Jean MacKay (Dempster); his sisters, Beverly Crockett and Judy Nelson; and his parents, Vaughan and Dorothy MacKay (Lewis). He was also cherished by twenty great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces; and his extended family.
