Frances R. Smolenski Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances R. Smolenski of Oxford, Massachusetts, born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 14, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry E. Smolenski; her brothers, Anthony Varano, Joseph Varano, Raphael Varano and Lawrence Varano; and her parents, Anthony Varano and Josephine Varano (Lorratto).

She is survived by: her children, Diane F. Freeman of Putnam, CT, Michael H. Smolenski (Virginia) of East Providence, RI and Donna R. Stone of Oxford; her sister Antoinette Pipitone of Florida; her grandchildren, Casey Freeman (Heather), Jaimie Freeman, Jennifer Stone and Brandon Smolenski; and her great grandchildren, Vera and Josie. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
