He was predeceased by: his children, Dawn Marie Quinn and John Angus Quinn; his brother Richard Kemp; his granddaughter Linda Mae Groccia; his son-in-law Mark D. Giles; and his parents, Donald A. Kemp and Martha C. Kemp (Lincoln).
He is survived by: his wife Linda F. Kemp (Butler) of Oxford; his daughter Gail K. Giles of Oxford; his grandchildren, Brittany Jean of Oxford, Jade Marie of Oxford, Sophia Rose of Oxford, Jonathan Hicks of West Jefferson, NC and Jered Hicks of West Jefferson, NC; his daughter-in-law Tammy Testerman of North Carolina; and his aunt Irene. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Roch's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
