He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia Curry. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Degnan (Nishan) of North Oxford; his children, Colleen Rea (Robert) of Dudley, Michael Degnan (Emily) of Brewster, Brian Degnan (Suzanne) of Dennis, Daniel Degnan (Dendra Bodreau) of Oxford, Sean Degnan (Pamela) of Brewster and Maureen Dupuis (David) of Westminster; his grandchildren, Meghan, Patrick, Gillian, Sarah, Danielle, Evan, Tyler, Kayla, Spencer, Dalton, Haley, Paige, Cory, Timothy and Jessica; and his father Joseph Degnan. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paradis-Givner Funeral Home (357 Main St, Oxford, MA 01540). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Roch's Church (332 Main St, Oxford, MA 01540). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the St. Roch's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, or to St. John's Food for the Poor Program, 20 Temple St., Worcester, MA 01604.
