It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Anderson of Oxford, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Algot W. Anderson and Ruth Ellen Anderson (Comer). He is survived by : his children, Jody J. Anderson (Kristy) of Oxford, Jason R. Anderson of Webster, Jarred P. Anderson of Woodstock, CT and Samantha L. Rivernider (Jason) of Woodstock, CT; and his brothers, William F. Anderson (Christine) of Auburn and Stephen C. Anderson of Oxford. He is also survived by three grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson Rod and Gun Club (93 Brandy Hill Rd, Thompson, CT 06277).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Villalobos Rescue Center or the Alzheimer's Association.
