He was loved and cherished by many people including : his uncles, Phil, Turkey and Coach; his wife Gail M. Davis (Wagner) of Oxford; his children, Philip I. Davis Jr. (Kirstin) of Oxford and Tara Lynn Davis (Derek Dumas) of Salem; his siblings, Beverly Chauvin of North Grosvenordale, CT and Gerald Davis Sr. (Priscilla) of North Grosvenordale, CT; his grandsons, Chase Davis of Oxford and Hunter Davis of Oxford; his children, Helena F. Davis and Grant P. Davis; his siblings, Irving Davis, Iona Gauthier, Frederick Davis Sr., Eunice Ratcliffe, Pauline Davis, Joyce Rolfe Thibeault, Alfred Davis Sr., Charles Davis, Russell Davis Sr. and Arthur Davis Sr.; and his parents, Van J. and Florence Davis (Cove). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
