We announce the death of Rita M. Birchard (Oxford, Massachusetts), who passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles D. Birchard; her sons, Donald C. Birchard and David Birchard; her parents, John English and Monica English (Careen); and her brothers, Stephen and Charles.
She is survived by: her daughter Elaine S. Courtney of Worcester; her siblings, John, Aloysius English, Frances Mary English and Mercedes Christopher; and her grandchildren, Mary R. Biron, Thomas R. Courtney III, Stacy E. Collins, Eddey and Amanda Birchard. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom she loved; and many relatives.
