He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Lee Harris and Ella Harris (Ogle); and his siblings, Thomas, David and Peggy.
He is survived by: his children, John Harris II, Todd Harris (Carrie) and Kimberly Murray (John); and his brothers, Jim Harris (Sylvia) and William Harris (Jena). He is also survived by great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild, as well as nieces and nephews.
