He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Johnson and Dorothy Johnson (Edman); and his son Ross E. Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Johnson (Lindberg); his sons, Ronald "Ronnie" Jr. (Nancy) and Russell "Rusty" Johnson of Texas; his grandsons, Ronald "Tripper" Johnson III of Somerville, MA, Timothy "Timmy" Johnson of Bourne, MA, Daniel "Danny" Johnson and Aidan Johnson of Texas; Melissa Boland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home (61 Myrtle St, Worcester, MA 01608). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
