He is survived by : his wife Jane Deegan Kelly Ruggiero of Peabody; his children, Mary Kelley (Joseph) of Peabody, MA, Michael Ruggiero (Darlene) of Easton, PA and Stephen Kelly (Mary) of Salisbury, MA; his granddaughter Maeve Kelly of Newburyport, MA; and his brothers, Angelo, Anthony, Jimmy and Frank of Winthrop, MA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home North Shore Chapel (10 Chestnut St, Peabody, MA 01960). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (140 Lynn St, Peabody, MA 01960). A committal service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (100 Cedar Grove Ave, Peabody, MA 01960).
