He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Poretsky (Ziskind) and Louis Poretsky; and his spouse Babette Poretsky (Wise). He is survived by: his children, Abbie Stanton (late Kenny Stanton) and Andrew Poretsky; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jillian, Andrew, Anthony and Adam; and his sibling Sidney Poretsky of New Jersey. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, family members, and many friends.
Donations may be made in Barry's name to Temple Tiferet Shalom Preschool or the MSPCA of Boston.
