He was predeceased by : his parents, Juan Vargas and Hilda Vargas (Vargas). He is survived by : his wife Maria Mercedes Santiago; and his children, Meredith Vargas of Peabody, Joan Vargas of Peabody and Jeffrey Vargas of Peabody. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
