She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Vilar; her parents, Arthur Cordeau and Ada Cordeau (Bonin); her siblings, Mary Helen Magnell (Joseph), Gladys Nicotera (Leo), Dorothy McEachern (Paul), Arthur John Cordeau (Kathleen) and Joseph "Lenny" Cordeau (Anna); and her brothers-in-law, Emidio Giancristiano and Vincent Polito.

She is survived by: her brother Richard Cordeau (Margie) of Lynn; her nieces and nephews, Tom Giancristiano (Mary), Karen Miranda (Larry), Vincent Polito (Linda) and Laurette McMahon (Pat); and her godson John Reppucci.
